The Cetek story began in the early 1990's when current owners of the company were employed as engineering design experts, managing and supporting industrial automation and embedded systems design projects in mid-west manufacturing companies.  They became part of  elevator and escalator controls design teams, automation and motor control systems projects, packaging systems, lighting equipment testing, and various other project groups within local industries. 

CETEK was formed in 2001 by 4 Engineers with a combined industrial experience of 65 years.  The company began manufacturing operations in 2006 in a Davenport IA location and moved to our current location in 2012.  

Our expertise and manufacturing experience has been accumulated from involvement in projects with many global corporations including Alcoa, Rockwell Automation, General Electric, Kraft, KONE, Musco Lighting, and Nestle.
